Brit Milah or Circumcision?

Brit Milah (often shortened to brit or bris) meaning covenant of circumcision is the term given to the ritual circumcision for Jewish newborn boys. Traditionally this is held on the eighth day after birth (Day One being the day the boy is born).

It comprises the circumcision and the naming of the boy. Blessings are said by parents and by the mohel (person carrying out the circumcision).

I am a member of the Association of Reform and Liberal Mohalim and will conduct the Brit Milah ceremony for you either by myself or with your rabbi if you prefer.

I also carry out circumcisions for non-Jewish boys or for those who do not want any ceremony at all. I use the same technique and anaesthetic.
